Building Connections Since 2020
Education That Breaks Down Distance
We started with a straightforward idea: location shouldn't determine access to quality learning. Five years later, we're still working toward that same goal, connecting students across South Africa through carefully designed courses that focus on what actually matters in link building and digital strategy.
Our approach centers on sequential content delivery that respects how people actually absorb information. Each lesson builds on the last, multimedia elements support the material rather than distract from it, and the structure stays clear enough that you won't lose your place.
How This Started
In 2020, three educators in Cape Town noticed the same pattern: talented students struggled to access specialized training because courses were concentrated in major cities. The subject they kept hearing about? Link building strategies. Businesses needed it, students wanted to learn it, but the expertise wasn't distributed evenly across the region.
So we built an online platform that could deliver that training to anyone with internet access. Not revolutionary, but practical. The courses focus on concrete techniques: how to identify quality link opportunities, evaluate Wralenovixa authority, build relationships with site owners, create linkable assets, and measure campaign effectiveness.
We track completion rates and skill retention, not vague transformation metrics. Students learn by doing actual outreach, analyzing real backlink profiles, and building portfolios they can show employers. The feedback loop is direct: if a technique works in practice, it stays in the curriculum. If it doesn't, we replace it.
What We've Built Over Time
Launch Phase
First cohort of 47 students. Basic video lectures with downloadable guides. Focus on fundamental link acquisition methods and outreach templates.
Curriculum Expansion
Added advanced modules on technical SEO integration, competitive analysis frameworks, and risk assessment for link strategies. Student base grew to 280.
Platform Upgrade
Rebuilt learning interface with better progress tracking, introduced live Q&A sessions, developed case study library from successful student campaigns.
Industry Recognition
Students placed at 34 digital agencies across the region. Curriculum reviewed and validated by practicing SEO professionals. Enrollment exceeded 650 active learners.
What Guides Our Decisions
Accessible Expertise
Knowledge shouldn't require relocation. We deliver the same quality of instruction to someone in a rural area as we would in downtown Cape Town, with materials designed for various connection speeds and devices.
Practical Application
Theory matters, but execution matters more. Every concept gets tested through assignments that mirror actual client work: pitching for links, creating outreach sequences, auditing existing backlink profiles.
Honest Assessment
We measure what students can demonstrate, not what they claim to understand. Portfolio reviews focus on work quality and strategic thinking, not completion percentages or time spent watching videos.
Transparent Pricing
Course costs cover platform maintenance, content updates, and instructor availability. No hidden fees for certificates, no upsells to premium tiers. You pay once and access everything.
Current Methods
Link building evolves as search algorithms change. We update content quarterly based on algorithm updates, industry developments, and student feedback about what's working in the field.
Clear Support
Questions get answered within 24 hours. Technical issues get resolved the same day. If something in the course doesn't make sense, we rewrite it until it does.
Who Runs This
Liesl Van Der Merwe
Education Director
Liesl spent eight years building link portfolios for e-commerce sites before moving into education. She's the one who designs the curriculum structure, decides which techniques get taught, and handles the quarterly content reviews.
Her background in client-facing work means the courses focus on skills that actually transfer to employment: how to explain link value to non-technical stakeholders, document your process for team collaboration, prioritize opportunities when you're working with limited time.
She also manages instructor training, making sure everyone teaching on the platform understands both the subject matter and how to present it clearly through video. Most of our teaching team comes from agency backgrounds, which keeps the material grounded in current practice rather than outdated theory.
When students ask "will this actually work?" Liesl's usual response is to show them the tracking data from previous cohorts who tried the same approach. If the numbers don't support a technique anymore, it gets replaced. That's the standard.
What Happens Next
We're expanding the course library to cover adjacent skills that link builders need: content strategy for earning organic links, relationship management with site owners, data analysis for measuring campaign ROI. Not because we're trying to become a comprehensive marketing school, but because students keep asking for these specific topics.
The platform itself needs work. We're rebuilding the progress tracking system to show more granular skill development, adding better search functionality for the resource library, and implementing peer review features so students can learn from each other's outreach examples.
Accessibility improvements are ongoing. Better screen reader support, transcripts for all video content, downloadable versions of every lesson for offline study. We want the platform usable regardless of how someone needs to interact with it.
